SureCam to Introduce 24/7 Video Monitoring Service for Fleets
SureCam, leading provider of connected cameras, will introduce a 24/7 Video Monitoring service at the Commercial Vehicle Show 2019. This new service provides fleets with a number of tangible benefits, including filtering 100% of irrelevant driving incidents, worldwide coverage for cross border operations, email notifications to unlimited users, real time interactive dashboard, and a white labelled platform.
The service was designed due to the growing demand for connected vehicle cameras and the immediate need from our customers to proactively monitor and manage video footage from the scene of an incident. Sam Footer, Strategic Partnership Director at SureCam explained, “Many of our enterprise fleet customers see the benefits that a connected camera system can offer but might not have the time and resource to review all of the footage. Prior to launching this service, we extensively refined and developed the platform using a number of our existing customers including Krispy Kreme and Morgan Sindall.”
Ben Povey, National Transport Manager at Krispy Kreme, trialed SureCam’s Video Monitoring Service in his UK fleet. “The benefits were immediately obvious, and I was particularly impressed by the speed with which the videos were reviewed, graded and reported back within the 1-hour SLA,” said Povey. “Duty of care and ensuring the safety of our drivers is paramount and knowing that all high-grade videos are reviewed 24/7 gives us reassurance and peace of mind from a risk and safety perspective and we fully endorse this service.”
Many well-known insurers and brokers who work with SureCam have reviewed the new service.
“Through intelligent data capture, analytics and reporting tools, the SureCam’s Video Monitoring service is proving to be an invaluable tool for fleet managers looking to manage and reduce their risk,” said Andrew Millinship, Risk Management Executive at Willis Tower Watson. He added that, “From our perspective, it’s vital to see fleets take proactive steps to monitor and where necessary, change the behaviours of their drivers to reduce risk and improve safety.”
