Intelligent Telematics (Stand 4J100), the leading provider of vehicle camera and tracking solutions, has expanded its international operation in response to growing demand for its 3G forward-facing camera. With HGV, van and car fleet businesses increasingly looking to reduce costs, enhance safety and protect against fraudulent insurance claims, the company has established four new offices to boost its presence in Eastern Europe, Africa, North America and the Middle East.

The offices – located in Croatia, South Africa, the United States and United Arab Emirates – will enable Intelligent Telematics to engage with fleet operators in new regions by combining the most innovative camera technology with local expertise. This will ensure the company is best placed to develop solutions that meet precise requirements to help improve road safety, reduce insurance costs, enhance driver behaviour and boost Duty of Care.

Craig Lovell, Operations Director at Intelligent Telematics SA commented: “South Africa is an established market for telematics systems, but 3G vehicle cameras are still an emerging technology. We are already seeing strong demand from a wide range of fleet businesses and with our new operation we are in an excellent position to take advantage of the opportunities that exist. As result, we have already secured a number of deals and expect rapid growth moving forward.”

Sam Footer, Head of International Business and Strategic Development at Intelligent Telematics said: “The demand we have seen for the IT1000 3G vehicle camera over the past 12 months has demonstrated the value it can provide to the fleet and road transport sectors. By building our international presence we will expand our global reach, so we can provide advanced technology solutions with unrivalled levels of service across all our target markets.”
